TechSuggestions ("we", "us") does not require an account, does not collect payment details, and does not run comment sections or user profiles. The data we do see is limited to anonymised analytics about how the site is used, plus whatever happens on other companies' sites after you click an outbound link — which is covered by their own privacy policies, not ours.

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are useful and which aren't. These tools report aggregate information such as:

• Pages visited and time spent on them
• Approximate location (country/region level, not precise address)
• Device type, browser, and screen size
• How you arrived at the site (e.g. search engine, direct link)

We do not collect names, email addresses, or account information unless you send them to us directly — for example, by emailing us from the Contact page.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors from new ones and to measure site usage over time. Vercel Analytics is designed to work without persistent cookies. Neither is used to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not run retargeting or ad-network pixels on this site.

You can block or clear analytics cookies at any time through your browser's privacy settings without losing access to any part of the site.

Analytics data described above is processed by Google (Google Analytics) and Vercel (Vercel Analytics, and as our hosting provider). Both companies publish their own privacy policies covering how they handle data on behalf of sites like ours.

TechSuggestions is written for students generally and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

• Contact us to ask what, if anything, we hold about an email you've sent us

As the site adds or removes tools (like analytics providers), this page will be updated to reflect that. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent change.
